p>In collaboration with the Director of Imaging Services, the Lead CT Tech is responsible for: • Delegating, developing, and implementing imaging procedures • Overall efficiency, productivity, and quality of work performed in the CT department • Collaborating with the Director in coordinating department activities, including equipment quality control, ordering supplies, and department performance improvement • Participating in hiring, scheduling, and evaluating staff performance • Overseeing efficiency, productivity, and quality of work in the department • Providing supervision for all CT clinical and support personnel • Effectively addressing conflict and opportunities for improvement • Facilitating the flow of communication within the hospital while managing operations in a manner that results in effective provision of care and/or services • Possessing the knowledge of procedures, protocols, and policies related to the CT and Diagnostic Imaging departments • Performing these duties using independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
Ability to provide a high level of customer service to patients, visitors, staff, internal, and external customers in a professional, service-oriented, respectful manner using skills in active listening and problem solving.
