Under the direction and supervision of the Medical Physicist, Radiation Oncologist and Cancer Center Director, provides radiation therapy care to patients performing all technical procedures required to deliver accurate dose of radiation therapy treatment: operation of CT Sim and linear accelerator; portal imaging and film processing; mold and immobilization device fabrication; computer technology and software requirements for treatment planning, dose verification and recording; documentation in medical record; patient scheduling and billing. Proficient in Radiation Oncology technical procedures including operation of treatment machines, simulator, film processor, mold and immobilization equipment, computer software.
