The CT department supports a high-acuity ED, providing advanced CT imaging for stroke, adult trauma, pediatric trauma, CT angiography, and other emergent diagnostic studies using dedicated CT scanners located in both the Main CT department and the ED. Joseph's University Medical Center is a 651-bed regional academic medical center, state-designated Level II Trauma Center, and designated children's hospital in Paterson, New Jersey.
