Radiology Technologist Responsibilities: • Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures, including angioplasty and stent placements, ensuring all equipment is ready and functioning properly • Monitoring patients' vital signs before, during, and after procedures • Preparing patients for procedures by explaining the process, cleaning, and shaving the area of insertion • Monitoring and documenting procedural data and patient information, and reporting any abnormalities to the physician • Operate and maintain all equipment within the catheterization lab, ensuring a sterile environment and proper functioning of imaging technology • Demonstrates teamwork approach by assisting coworkers in expediting processes to ensure efficient and effective workflow in the delivery of quality care • Provides excellent customer service to our patients, physicians, offices and coworkers • Participates in an environment that ensures quality work, group morale and is conductive to maintaining effective lines of communication • Running C-ARM intraoperatively during surgical procedures • Performs radiographic procedures • May be assigned radiation safety officers and/ or life skills officer duties as well • Inventory, receive, and restock materials used for radiological services • Perform all other duties as assigned. Radiology Technologist Requirements: • High school graduate or equivalent • Completion of an accredited radiology program • Minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab experience required • ARRT (The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) as required by state • Successful completion of BLS - CPR Course within 90 days of employment required or documentation of current certification.
