Band Two requires a minimum of 18 months of progressively responsible professional work experience as an IR specialist in a clinical or hospital environment with at least 6 months dedicated to the URMC Imaging Sciences Department, certification in Vascular Interventional Radiology, and capable of performing all IR competencies including but not limited to: TIPS, Angiography, Ablations, Pediatrics, Neuro IR, CT Guided Procedures. Band Three Technologists will also have demonstrated the ability to rotate through the Tech of the Day (TOD) role where they will be responsible for coordinating Technologist duty assignments, be the single point of contact for Technologists questions or concerns, collaboratively work with the Nurse of the Day (NOD) and Doctor of the Day (DOD) to ensure cohesion amongst the three disciplines.
