In addition to meeting the unit experience requirements, your work experience needs to reflect at least 12 months (1 year) of uninterrupted experience working in the same unit/specialty you’re applying to. Responsibilities include abdominal, pelvic (gynecological and obstetrical), transvaginal, and small parts (thyroid, breast, and scrotal) sonograms, along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations.
