p/>At NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, our Nuclear Medicine department is at the forefront of innovation—playing a vital role in diagnosing, managing, and treating serious conditions. Our newly renovated suite features two state-of-the-art gamma cameras and supports nearly 3,000 procedures annually.
In this role, you will operate CT equipment and apply your knowledge of Radiology Information Systems, PACSs, and digital data transfer processes, under the direction of a radiologist and the supervision of a department supervisor. While this is a technical position with no supervisory responsibility, you will play a critical role in maintaining our premier level of quality, in support of a world-class clinical team.
li>ARRT certification and registration in Computed Tomography (CT) or current NMTCB (CT) certification, or, if not currently held, must satisfy the applicable eligibility requirements and obtain CT certification within six (6) months of hire or transfer. In this role, you will operate CT equipment and apply your knowledge of Radiology Information Systems, PACSs, and digital data transfer processes, under the direction of a radiologist and the supervision of a department supervisor.
p>As a valued member of our team, you'll operate advanced X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images under the direction of a radiologist and supervision of a department leader. We perform digital general X-ray and fluoroscopy procedures using four state-of-the-art digital X-ray units, including those in the Emergency Department and a dedicated orthopedic suite.
In this role, you'll combine advanced clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities, supporting intraoperative imaging procedures while helping guide workflow, train staff, and ensure operational excellence in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Informed by basic research done at our Sloan Kettering Institute, scientists across MSK collaborate to conduct innovative translational and clinical research that is driving a revolution in our understanding of cancer as a disease and improving the ability to prevent, diagnose, and treat it.
American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) registered in Radiologic Technology and Mammography (required). Graduate of approved school of Radiology (required).

li>Sets up/ stocks the procedure room/procedure trays with all needed supplies and interventional equipment prior to procedure and cleans procedure room post procedure, including but not limited to cleaning of equipment/machinery. Acts as scrub assistant assisting the physician during interventional procedures and administers fluoroscopy to enable the physician to see flow through the blood vessels to identify areas in need of intervention while maintaining a sterile technique according to the established company policies and procedures and state and federal regulations.
