License: Must be currently licensed as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, RT Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or a Medical Radiation Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board, Inc. (NMTCB). Position Overview: The Nuclear Med Tech, under the supervision of the Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist and Radiologist, performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals, exercises professional judgment in performance of services, and applies principles of radiation protection for self and the patient.
