Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology Location: Lafayette, LA Duration: 3 Months (with possible extension) Shift: Days, 5*8, every other weekend required Key Responsibilities: Inserting, maintaining, and removing intravenous lines for safe medication and contrast dye delivery Reviewing allergies, patient history, and physical assessment findings with the patient and medical team prior to surgery Educating patients and family members on post-operative plans and procedures Assisting surgeons during neurological and vascular angiography (setting up supplies, passing guide wires and catheters, preparing sterile trays and equipment, handing over instruments and supplies, etc.) Monitoring for and addressing intraoperative complications (oversedation, cardiac arrhythmia, respiratory decompensation, acid/base imbalance, etc.) Requirements: BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) PALS LA RN License or compact state license 2-3 Yr of recent Acute Hospital experience
