p/>At NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, our Nuclear Medicine department is at the forefront of innovation—playing a vital role in diagnosing, managing, and treating serious conditions. Our newly renovated suite features two state-of-the-art gamma cameras and supports nearly 3,000 procedures annually.
In this role, you will operate CT equipment and apply your knowledge of Radiology Information Systems, PACSs, and digital data transfer processes, under the direction of a radiologist and the supervision of a department supervisor. While this is a technical position with no supervisory responsibility, you will play a critical role in maintaining our premier level of quality, in support of a world-class clinical team.
li>ARRT certification and registration in Computed Tomography (CT) or current NMTCB (CT) certification, or, if not currently held, must satisfy the applicable eligibility requirements and obtain CT certification within six (6) months of hire or transfer. p>As a valued member of our team, you'll operate advanced X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images under the direction of a radiologist and supervision of a department leader. We perform digital general X-ray and fluoroscopy procedures using four state-of-the-art digital X-ray units, including those in the Emergency Department and a dedicated orthopedic suite.
American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) registered in Radiologic Technology and Mammography (required). Graduate of approved school of Radiology (required).

Serving as a leader and role model, the Technical Manager collaborates closely with the Administrative Director, Section Chiefs, institution practice managers, nursing leadership, radiology management teams, technologists, and support personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality imaging services. In lieu of five (5) years of leadership experience, ten (10) years of clinical experience as a technologist will be accepted, or a combination of leadership and clinical experience equating to ten (10) years, with a minimum of six (6) years of clinical experience as a technologist.
