Expanded scope options (on-site training and competencies performed/assessed by Program Manager/Compliance Officer, Assistant Health Services Administrator, or Health Services Administrator, Nurse Manager, or other qualified/designated staff) may include: obtaining and recording vital signs and conducting the following CLIA waived tests: rapid strep and rapid influenza (once collected by RN or LVN), urinalysis (dipstick), and urine pregnancy. Provides direct care to patients within discipline Scope of Practice and performs functions in accordance with current accepted practice, licensure, certification, credentialing, and or granted privileges.
