Required to perform or oversee a variety of duties to include: Performing security patrols, Enforcing badge procedures, Protecting property from theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire and accidents, Investigates and writes reports on accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, Safety and fire hazards and other security related situations, Provide any needed assistance to customers, employees and visitors with the department's procedures, Serve as training officer to new security staff, May perform duties of a Security Sergeant during required coverage as assigned, and performs other related duties as assigned by a Lieutenant and or Security Department Manager. May be exposed to excessive noise, temperatures, hazards associated with working around moving machinery, work in confined quarters, exposure to vibrations and shop lighting, continuous exposure to hot temperatures, may be humid, odors, dust, continuous exposure to mechanical hazards, and occasional exposure to chemical hazards.
