Requires a Bachelors degree in parks, recreation and tourism, leisure services or related field supplemented by one to two years of responsible experience in parks and recreation programming or childcare, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Plans, develops, schedules, supervises and/or conducts recreation programs, activities and events, which may include day camps, after-school programs, activities for senior citizens, athletic programs, holiday programs, and various special events.
