The main duties include planning the maintenance/repair/install operations for both daily, weekly, and longer periods; schedulingthe periodic maintenance (PM) to minimize the impact on production; making decisions about priorities in the face of known issues (maintenance), large capital projects (e.g., new equipment or facility improvements), and surprises (e.g., broken equipment that can stop a manufacturing line). Due to the nature and scope of the essential functions of this position, the importance of personal interactions with coworkers and direct reports, and the availability of job-related tools, equipment and resources at work, performance of the essential functions requires regular, consistent availability, accessibility, and presence on-site and after-hours.
