A Regional New Cadet Recruiters purpose is to attract, recruit and drive prospective cadets in assigned regions to apply to VMI through a variety of methods, including visiting high schools and JROTC programs, community colleges, attending state/national college fairs, conducting enrollment presentations, managing recruitment correspondence through VMIs new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, and coordinating and assisting with on- and off-post recruitment programs. The Regional New Cadet Recruiter communicates daily with prospective students and families and will manage events designed to develop relationships with high school and community college counselors.
