The Director of Health Information Management (HIM) provides enterprise leadership over the medical record lifecycle and health information governance, including document scanning,indexing and quality controls, data integrity (chart corrections/amendments), patient portal request support (e.g., MyChart), and release of information (ROI). The Director partners closely with Clinical leaders, Compliance/Privacy/Legal, Information Technology (IT), Revenue Cycle, and Coding/Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) to improve data quality, reduce operational friction, and manage risk.
