Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience; required travel experience; current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; required charting system experience; experience caring for approximately 1 patient for every 2 patients; proficiency in accessing and managing ports, arterial line management, chest tube assistance, Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure/Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (BiPAP/CPAP) management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line care, renal failure management, continuous intravenous sedation, acute stroke management, high-flow nasal cannula management, arterial blood gas interpretation, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, isolation precautions and personal protective equipment (PPE), intravenous insulin protocols, multisystem organ dysfunction or failure management, phlebotomy, peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) line management, pre- and post-cardiac catheterization care, procedural sedation monitoring, pulmonary artery line monitoring, intravenous access, suctioning, cardiac drip titration, vasoactive drip titration, and ventilator management. Clinical support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy.
