Required Qualifications: California registered nurse license; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; a minimum of 2.5 years of recent, consistent home-unit experience in a transitional care unit, step-down unit, or progressive care unit; travel nursing experience; teaching hospital experience; required electronic charting experience; and proficiency with telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, intravenous access, oxygen administration, noninvasive airway management, blood product administration, heparin protocols, isolation precautions and personal protective equipment, surgical drains, wound care, wound vacuum therapy, and port access and management. Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; and experience caring for acute care patients recovering from procedures such as biopsies.
