Required Qualifications: Current active compact license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, 2 years of RN experience, 1 full year in a step-down unit, prior travel assignment, trauma level II experience, recent Electronic Patient Record (EPIC) charting experience, and proficiency in tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (passing tele tests required). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with post heart cath care including femoral access and remote bands, initiating/titrating drips (e.g., Cardizem, Amio, Cardene, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin), sepsis care, use of chest tubes, CPAP/Optiflow, PIV insertion, and neuro assessments such as NIHSS and dysphagia screening.
