Skillset includes tele/12-lead EKG interpretation, initiating and titrating drips (antiarrhythmics, heparin, amino, etc.), PIV insertion, chest tube/indwelling drain management, CBI, stable drips (heparin, Lasix, Protonix), antidysrhythmics (Cardizem, Tikosyn dosing, amiodarone), and nephrostomy tubes. Unit Details: Patient population is high-acuity and cardiac-heavy, including medical-surgical/telemetry patients with AFib with RVR, AFib, flutter, blocks, heart catheterizations without interventions, CHF, COPD, sepsis, behavioral health/CIWA, post-ablations, and dialysis.
