Primary responsibilities include performing comprehensive physical assessments; ordering, interpreting, and managing diagnostic testing; recognizing and treating acute and chronic medical conditions; providing health promotion and disease prevention counseling; and conducting occupational evaluations for work-related injuries, illnesses, return-to-work, and fitness-for-duty determinations. In addition, the NP/PA collaborates closely with Environmental Health & Safety, Infection Prevention and Control, Human Resources, departmental leaders, and other institutional stakeholders to promote employee health, workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and organizational well-being.
