Job Title: RN MCU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: - EPIC EMR Experience in a similar unit within the last 12 months - Ability to self-study telemetry strips upon acceptance - Pass a Basic Dysrhythmia test during the first week of assignment Description: Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Floating may include non-critical care inpatient units, including behavioral health and emergency department if there are boarded patients.
