A Labor and Delivery RN provides comprehensive care to mothers and newborns before, during, and immediately after childbirth, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, assisting with deliveries. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): Maternal Monitoring: They check blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, oxygen saturation, and monitor for signs of complications like preeclampsia or infection.
