The PD Training Nurse will be responsible for preparing patients and caregivers to safely and confidently perform peritoneal dialysis, including aseptic technique, catheter care, equipment setup, treatment procedures, troubleshooting, infection prevention, emergency procedures, and ongoing self-management. This position provides individualized peritoneal dialysis education and training directly in the patient's home, allowing patients and caregivers to learn PD in a comfortable, private environment while receiving highly personalized clinical support.
