Provide research-based mental health assessments for new admissions • Deliver case management services for clients presenting with mental health needs • Facilitate psychoeducational groups ranging from small group coaching to didactic sessions • Implement existing curricula to engage clients in goal setting and developing treatment goals for mental health with the Primary Addiction Counselor • Maintain fidelity to the treatment model with particular emphasis on the Matrix Model Family Educational Model and other evidence-based mental health and addiction treatment practices • Participate as a collaborative team member in Interdisciplinary Team IDT meetings • Maintain regular communication with team members, external providers, and staff to ensure coordinated service delivery • Document assessments, group notes, individual session notes, and clinical visit summaries in EPIC EMR in accordance with regulatory, governmental, and funding requirements • Maintain accurate case records and statistical data for management reporting, billing, and treatment evaluation • Assist in completing initial evaluations within required timeframes as defined in OASAS Part 820 • Assist in the development and augmentation of comprehensive treatment plans addressing psychiatric issues and co-occurring substance use disorders with the Primary Addiction Counselor • Recommend appropriate mental health treatment interventions and services based on client needs.
