Primary responsibilities include developing negotiation strategies and company positions on complex contracts, performing market and financial analysis to determine business risk associated with a supplier or contract, establishing or maintaining professional relationships with suppliers or partners, being the corporate expert for assigned operations services categories, and acting as the primary liaison to suppliers within assigned categories. Basic qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or related field, a minimum of five years of operations services buying experience, market knowledge of gas/electric utility products, equipment, and services, and basic knowledge of business law, commercial terms and conditions, and related legal issues.
