The ideal candidate is an experienced mechanical engineering leader who can act as a technical authority for major hardware development efforts, guide architecture and design trades, evaluate subcontractor designs and deliverables, mentor engineering personnel, support proposal and customer engagement activities, and help scale Lyntris’ internal design, development, test, and production-transition capabilities. Expert-level understanding of mechanical engineering concepts including CNC machining, CMM inspection, GD&T, additive manufacturing, extreme environments, thermal management, heat pipes, sheet metal, welding, structural design, materials, and manufacturability.
