Comprehensive care for treating and preventing heart disease includes General cardiology services, Chicagos first dedicated center for womens heart care, early detection and screening programs including a preventative/lipid program, advanced techniques in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery including a renowned ECMO and LVAD program, a state-of-the-art interventional cardiology program including cutting-edge structural interventions, comprehensive electrophysiology with arrhythmia and device services, adult congenital heart disease, cardio-oncology, cardio-nutrition, cardiometabolic clinic, cardio-rheumatology, Amyloid program, cardiac rehabilitation, and specialized treatment and follow-up care for people at all stages of heart failure and its complications and clinical research, evaluating new medicines, devices and procedures in heart care. The Section Chief will provide leadership and oversight of all operational and programmatic aspects of Electrophysiology at Rushs downtown location and Rush Oak Park Hospital (ROPH), including expertise in complex ablations and device implantation, along with Skills in LAAO implantation and/or lead extraction.
