Participates in scheduled encounters, maintains capacity for urgent care for the evaluation for complex symptom evaluation and management and improves access for newly diagnosed hematology oncology patients.-Orders, interprets, and evaluates appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests.-Ensues appropriate diagnostic procedures occur in a timely manner through careful coordination with other services such as radiology, facilitating various clinic appointments, communicating with patients regarding test results, and providing coverage for the team- Performs (oversees/assures completion of) specialized procedures particular to the select medical oncology population mutually agreed upon with collaborating physician.- The hematology oncology PA will provide thorough, compassionate, culturally sensitive clinical care and should demonstrate operational flexibility and strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills in order to work effectively with other members of the team.-Performs comprehensive histories and physical examinations.-Completes high quality and timely documentation.-
