The candidate post-doc will use a wide array of techniques including bioinformatics, immunohistochemical analysis of tumor tissue, pre-clinical PDX models, transgenic mouse models, isolation of extracellular vesicles from serum, flow-cytometry and molecular biology techniques ( including RT-PCR, confocal microscopy) to define the underlying mechanisms of emergence of metastatic therapeutically resistant tumors and identify extracellular vesicles (EVs) as biomarkers of tumor progression.
