Our department is also the home to the Transgenic and Genome Editing Core, the Viral Vector Core, and a state-of-the-art microscopic facility, including multiphoton confocal microscopes, N-STORM super-resolution microscope, light-sheet microscope, imaging flow cytometry, and slide scanner. Our researchers and clinicians focus on what most impacts the health of Georgias and Americas children and adults, including cardiovascular biology and disease, cancer, neurosciences and behavioral sciences, public and preventive health, regenerative and reparative medicine, personalized medicine, and genomics.
