Responsibilities:
The Clinical Research Coordinator is a research professional who ensures oversight and compliance of both system-wide and local clinical research activities.  Works collaboratively with research personnel to ethically recruit and consent pediatric subjects and to appropriately collect and safeguard data.  Overall, the Clinical Research Coordinator is the site's primary liaison among research participants, the local investigator(s) and study sponsors.  The position's main responsibilities are to help ensure proper study conduct, subject safety, and the quality of data and data safeguards. Other responsibilities:<ul><li>Timely data collection</li><li>Ensure accurate data entry into secure research databases</li><li>Verify data accuracy through internal quality control measures</li><li>Provides timely responses to data queries</li><li>Confirms appropriate training and education are in place to safely perform study protocols.</li><li>Effectively provides information about the use of investigational products to patients.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>

Qualifications:

The Director of Portfolio Construction & Research will lead a team of research analysts within UC Wealth.  The research analysts will be charged with optimizing UC Wealth’s open architecture portfolio management process which lies at the core of UC Wealth’s exercise of discretionary asset management.  The team will be responsible for outside manager searches, due diligence on approved managers and the construction of a spectrum of investment portfolios optimized for different risk and reward characteristics.  The team will maintain the list of managers approved by the Asset Management Council, publish investment performance information and fact sheets on the approved managers.  Perform regular due diligence on same.  The team will also communicate developments in markets and the economy internally to UC Wealth and externally to its clients.  The Director will lead this effort, supervise the research analysts, and communicate the results of their research to the Asset Management Council, as well as the Team Members of UC Wealth.
