Carry out experimental designs for sponsored research projects, and perform routine experiments such as microinjections into zebrafish embryos, confocal microscopy, PCR, RT-PCR, western blot, gel electrophoresis, histology, fin clipping and genotyping of transgenic zebrafish lines, fluorescent assays, in situ hybridization, and immunohistochemistry. Preferred Experience: Previous experience in a research laboratory or setting; knowledge and experience with basic lab safety, prior animal (zebrafish) work is preferred but not required.
