The Center for Enervating Neuroimmune Disease (ENID Center) utilizes the expertise of faculty at Cornell University, the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, collaborators at other institutions, clinicians, and members of patient advocacy organizations in order to perform research on the pathophysiology of the disease Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) and to promote understanding of the diagnostic criteria and serious nature of the illness by medical personnel, researchers, and the public. As part of the Cornell community, you will help foster a culture of belonging and a healthy work environment by communicating across differences; being cooperative, collaborative, open, and welcoming; showing respect, compassion, and empathy; engaging and supporting others regardless of background or perspective; speaking up when others are being excluded or treated inappropriately; and supporting work/life integration of oneself and others.
