Responsibilities will include assisting with rodent surgeries and perioperative workflows, administering treatments by injection and gavage, monitoring animals after surgery, performing behavioral assays related to pain-associated outcomes, processing and organizing biological samples, maintaining accurate animal and experimental records, coordinating study timelines, and ensuring compliance with DAR, IACUC, and laboratory safety protocols. The Research Specialist will provide hands-on technical support for rodent studies, with a primary focus on animal handling, behavioral testing, injections, oral gavage, surgical assistance, post-operative monitoring, sample processing, and experimental data collection.
