Qualifications: • Passion for providing person-centered support that values individual preferences, interests, and goals • Must have at least 2 years of full-time experience working in a Community Residential setting • Must be mature, polite, and possess leadership abilities and demonstrate competency in the completion of the above noted job responsibilities • Ability to assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation, home maintenance, and community outings • Physical ability to lift and move individuals and objects as required by the site • Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing • Possession of a valid drivers license, auto insurance, and a clean driving record • Successful completion of a DHS background clearance at no cost to you • Valid drivers license, reliable vehicle, acceptable driving record, and proof of auto insurance required • Possess current or willing to obtain First Aid training and CPR Certificate as required by the home/division • Individual must be mature, polite, competent, and possess team playing abilities, effective listening skills and strong overall social and communication skills • Must be proficient at High School level in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English to fully communicate with the individuals we serve and staff members, to implement specialized medical and/or behavioral protocols and programming within the home/division, and to document required information • Must successfully complete Thomas Allen's Medication Administration training course and prove competency.
