Ensure client safety by identifying, managing, and reporting common safety concerns to supervisor such as: unsafe client behavior (threats directed at self, staff, peers or others), milieu or environmental situational dangers, presence of sharps, and dangerous chemicals, detergents and cleaners. Reporting to the unit supervisor, the Child Crisis Residential Counselor (CRC) provides a safe and effective treatment milieu by participating in the provision of a structured, therapeutic environment in which clients, families, and natural supports can safely work on treatment.
