Responsibilities: Evaluate patients with physical, physiological, developmental, and movement-related impairments; develop, implement, and modify therapeutic interventions; provide gait and transfer training, range-of-motion exercises, and other rehabilitation treatments; recommend and train patients in the use of assistive and supportive equipment; maintain an appropriate patient caseload; participate in interdisciplinary care planning, rounds, patient care conferences, and continuity-of-care activities. Additional Information: The resident participates in educational and didactic activities, clinical mentoring, assignments, examinations, competency milestones, patient care requirements, observations, grand rounds, journal clubs, teaching activities, and a capstone project.
