Responsibilities may include chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration, blood and blood product administration, central line and port management, stem cell therapy, recognition and management of treatment complications, and patient and family education. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services.
