Holiday requirement includes 2 summer holidays and 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving Day, day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). The unit is supported by a charge nurse on every shift who also takes a patient assignment, as well as patient care technicians who assist with hourly rounds, direct patient care, vitals, glucose checks, and patient mobility.
