Direct, implement, and control the respiratory therapy services departments through effective personnel management, delivery and monitoring of therapeutic patient care practices, developing and revising department policies and procedures, participating in ongoing quality and safety initiatives. Monitor inventory of supplies and equipment at bedside and storage areas to ensure resources are available; complete equipment calibration and quality control procedures as established; participate in equipment maintenance, dis-infection, and sterilization of all respiratory equipment.
