A Certified Respiratory Therapist delivers respiratory interventions and support for patients with acute respiratory problems, as well as routine care for chronic respiratory disorders.
p>The Respiratory Therapist Vent is a Field Clinician who delivers specialized respiratory care to ventilator dependent patients in home and alternate care settings. This role combines hands on patient care, education, and collaboration with physicians and care teams to support safe, coordinated, and high quality outcomes outside the hospital.
p>The Respiratory Therapist Vent is a Field Clinician who delivers specialized respiratory care to ventilator dependent patients in home and alternate care settings. - Demonstrated experience providing respiratory care to ventilator patients, including ventilator management, airway clearance, and oxygen therapy.
ul>Core Skills: Vent management, weaning, extubation, intubation, A-line placement, ABGs, and CPAP/BiPAP.
Fatigue Policy: Strictly enforced max of 60 hours/week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts.
em>(Preferred: art lines, critical care, central lines, thoracentesis, charge experience). - ED RN: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (CPI/MOAB, ENPC preferred).
Floating Requirements Could float and take patient assignment on other MedSurg units or anywhere in the hospital MedSurg patients are located, including ER hold, ICU, etc. Primarily geriatric patients with a variety of medical and post-surgical conditions, including:
