Monitor and report production and downtime metrics at daily meeting; provide corrective action as needed in areas of shrinkage loss, line downtime, pattern change duration, cost controls, rework, new part startup cost, sample metrics and customer PPM requirements to ensure problems are identified and corrected as needed. Provide a safe work environment by ensuring safety training and communication take place; Respond to and address safety concerns raised by employees and ensure that safe work practices are followed so that company and plant targeted safety goals are met; this includes enforcement of PPE, LOTO, hearing conservation, hazard communication and housekeeping procedures.
