Under supervision, the counsel: (a) reviews, negotiates and drafts commercial contracts for assigned client companies or divisions; (b) handles pre-litigation disputes and manages litigation and alternative dispute resolution with other ACO Legal colleagues and/or outside counsel; (c) provides advice, counsel, and training on legal and compliance topics to the Mitsubishi Electric Group companies in the US; and (d) carries out any other legal work assigned to the counsel by the Senior Counsel or General Counsel. Review, negotiate and draft commercial contracts and related documents for assigned business divisions, and, as requested, other US based Mitsubishi Electric Group companies or divisions including (a) sales and purchasing agreements, (b) distributor/reseller agreements, (c) supply agreements, (d) digital product and service agreements, (e) marketing and other service agreements, (f) non-disclosure agreements, and (h) sales programs, policies and procedures.
