Support includes CNA coverage 1:6 days and 1:8 nights, charge RN taking a patient assignment, phlebotomy for peripheral lab draws, hospitalist and respiratory coverage 24/7, SWAT RN support, IV/Vascular Access Team during the day, and centralized telemetry monitoring with tele techs. Skills/procedures include Foley insertion/care, peripheral IV placement/maintenance, bladder scans, NG tube placement/maintenance, chest tubes, trachs, wound care, central line/PICC/midline management, and port access.
