As a Registered Nurse (RN) on the 4 South Med Surg Trauma Unit , your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn –whether through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or more formal opportunities through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives. In collaboration with the patient, the patient’s family, and other members of the health care team, the acute care Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, evaluating, planning, implementing, and coordinating a treatment plan and achieving the goals of the 4 South Medical/Surgical Trauma Nursing Department.
