Provide direct patient care on a Med Surg/Orthopedic unit serving a diverse patient population including post-surgical (total knees, total hips, shoulder replacements), COPD, CHF, oncology, sepsis, pneumonia, and patients with mental health and/or addiction histories. Administer and monitor set-rate drips including heparin, IV antibiotics, antithrombotics, and narcotics (titration of drips is not required).
