This includes working with all staff to assure that nursing care is delivered consistently according to established policies, procedures, and protocols including activities such as creating equitable staffing assignments, mentoring new staff, ensuring nursing presence at and preparedness for team conferences, communication to and follow up with physicians, safety monitors, and timely follow up on occurrence reports as well as customer service recovery as needed. When process, policy, or procedure changes are developed by the Chief Nursing Office or Nursing Directors, the Clinical Care Supervisor is responsible for directing staff to the information, assist with implementation of the changes, working with staff to complete competencies as needed, and providing feedback to the Nursing Directors.
