Clinical responsibilities may include caring for patients with cardiac, neurological, endocrine, infectious, respiratory, traumatic, and behavioral health conditions; managing emergency department holds; transporting critical patients; drawing arterial blood gases; performing electrocardiograms; reading cardiac monitor strips; and operating or assisting with ventilators, continuous positive airway pressure, bilevel positive airway pressure, and high-flow oxygen equipment. Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience, including at least 1 year in a trauma center; prior travel nursing experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certifications; Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) experience required.
