Cares for adult patients with primary cardiac diagnoses including heart failure, post-cardiac arrest, CT surgery, IABP therapy, Impella insertion, post-PCI, pacemaker insertion, ablation, arrhythmia, and STEMI/NSTEMI. Skills required include IV therapy, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line and PICC line care, chest tube assistance, BiPAP/CPAP and ventilator management, and interpretation of ABGs.
